Careers at The Humane League UK
OUR CULTURE
We are a community as well as colleagues, and we care about and support each other as professionals and as individuals.
Feedback is vital to our growth, both individually and as a team, and we invite and share this with the knowledge that it will make us stronger.
Collaboration is at our core. We share resources, train other nonprofit organisations, and cultivate a welcoming, change-making community.
Our leadership team empowers our staff to shine. Through offering guidance, support, and encouragement our staff feel ready to make decisions with autonomy and confidence.
We all share a commitment to ending the abuse of animals raised for food. What this means on a personal level might be different for everyone. While many of us are vegan, we understand that others may not be. We recognise and respect that we’re all on a journey towards making the world a better place.

OUR COMMITMENT TO DEI
The more diverse and inclusive we are, the stronger we will be. Creating a culture of equity isn’t just the right thing to do, it’s at the heart of our mission.
While we know we have more work to do, we are committed to creating a space where everyone feels heard, valued, safe, and empowered while achieving impactful wins for animals.

Where we work
We are an entirely remote organisation with team members working from our homes across the UK.
Having worked like this since we started, we are set up for seamless collaboration and connection. We use online platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, and Asana, and stay connected through regular meetings. We provide all of the equipment needed for staff to work safely and comfortably from home.
